The Urban Homestead reveal continues, and today, I'm sharing the completed primary suite and utility room. Seeing this rustic modern home come to life has been the absolute best. Trust me when I say, you'll most definitely want to scroll down to the brown primary bath... it's a firm favorite with a few fun surprises!

Primary Suite Bedroom
We've got some beautiful bedroom elements going on here at project Urban Homestead. This room exudes warmth, tranquility, and rest for the family whom resides in this home. Our rustic modern style was at the forefront of this design, and we were intentional about bringing in layered textures and earthy elements to capture the organic aesthetic.
One of my favorite elements in this space is the bouclé bed frame and headboard. I love the mix of materials. It's got the textural bouclé on the upholstery paired with the iron frame and leather strapping. It straddles that masculine-feminine look, which we love bringing into a primary suite since both men and women live here.
And guess what... it will be available in our shop this fall!
Brown Primary Bathroom
I am thrilled with how the primary bathroom turned out! We went pretty bold in here, opting for deep chocolate stained vanities, an alcove shower, and a gallery wall above the bath tub (yes, you read that right!). Luckily, we had the most amazing clients who let us have fun in this space and really show how vintage/rustic can lean toward a luxury style.
To complement the dark cabinets and herringbone tile, we accented the space with brass hardware and plumbing. We brought back in the touch of black that you see in every room with mixed metal industrial sconces.
Bathroom Gallery Wall
Above the soaking tub, we installed a shelf ledge – so convenient! – and a beautiful vintage art gallery wall. This was our first time hanging a gallery wall in a bathroom, but after seeing how perfectly it fit the space, this will most definitely not be our last.
Black Utility Room
This family's utility room was multi-functional. The space serves as their laundry room, mudroom, and extra food storage. We kept the moody vibe going with deep charcoal built-ins and V-groove wood paneled accent walls. Although, my favorite details in the room are the oversized wooden Scandinavian pendant lights. Such a wow factor!
Moody Powder Bath
The moody vibe in the powder bath, just off the utility room, can't be beat! The vintage elements really pop in this space. I mean, how cute is this porcelain pendant light?!
