Marketing Coordinator

Full Time // Edmond, Oklahoma

About Kelsey Leigh Design Co. & Heritage House:
Kelsey Leigh Design Co. is a prominent interior design studio located in Oklahoma City, known for its rustic modern aesthetic. Owner Kelsey McGregor launched the furniture and decor e-commerce site, Heritage House, in 2023. The brick and mortar shop is located in Downtown Edmond, OK. We are an extremely creative and collaborative team, and pride ourselves on our fun office environment while still having the capability of achieving hard deadlines.

Job Overview:
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the online presence of Kelsey Leigh Design Co. and Heritage House. This dynamic position requires a versatile individual who is comfortable navigating various tasks, excels in content creation, and possesses a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management:

    • Create engaging Instagram posts and reels that showcase the brand's aesthetic.

    • Curate and maintain a visually appealing Pinterest profile.

    • Craft LikeToKnowIt (LTK) posts for seamless shopping experiences.

    • Regularly engage with the audience across social media platforms.

  2. Content Creation:

    • Write captivating blog posts for project reveals.

    • Develop compelling email content for newsletters and promotional campaigns.

    • Utilize basic graphic design skills to create Instagram Story graphics, ads, etc.

  3. Brand Partnerships:

    • Coordinate and fulfill brand partnerships that align with Kelsey Leigh Design Co.'s values.


  • Comfortable with frequent mobile device use.

  • Proficient in working on the go.

  • Strong writing skills.

  • Passion for creating engaging and visually appealing social media content.

  • Active presence on various social media platforms.

  • Ability to intuitively capture “the moment.”

  • Basic graphic design or Canva skills.

  • An eye for interiors and design.

  • Must be willing to travel.

Heritage House Sales Associate

Part Time // Edmond, Oklahoma

Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Associate for our interior design shop. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, hospitable, and possess a professional demeanor. This role offers an opportunity to engage with customers, showcase your knowledge of interior design, and contribute to creating beautiful spaces for our clients.



  1. Customer Service and Sales:

    • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.

    • Assist customers in selecting furniture, accessories, and materials that meet their design preferences and requirements.

  2. Problem Solving and Consultation:

    • Proactively identify and address customer concerns or issues, finding appropriate solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with the interior design team to gather additional information and resources to support customer inquiries and design projects.

  3. Product Knowledge and Merchandising:

    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product lines, including furniture, lighting, fabrics, and accessories.

    • Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, industry developments, and product knowledge to better assist customers.

    • Maintain a visually appealing and organized sales floor by arranging products, updating displays, and ensuring cleanliness.

  4. Administrative Tasks:

    • Accurately process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, using our point-of-sale system.

    • Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and conducting regular inventory counts.

    • Collaborate with the sales team to maintain accurate customer records, including contact information and purchase history.

  5. Professionalism and Teamwork:

    • Maintain a professional and polished appearance, adhering to the company's dress code and grooming standards.

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive and cohesive team environment.

    • Support other areas of the store as needed, such as assisting with events, providing coverage for other team members, or participating in store-wide initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or training in interior design or related fields is a plus.

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the home decor or interior design industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to find creative solutions for customer needs and concerns.

  • Hospitable and customer-focused, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.

  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Basic computer literacy and experience with point-of-sale systems is preferred.

  • Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
