Careers

The Kelsey Leigh Design Co. and Heritage House team is growing! We are looking for talented people to fill the following positions within the company:

Content Creator

Full Time // Edmond, Oklahoma (In-Person Required)

About Kelsey Leigh Design Co. & Heritage House

At Kelsey Leigh Design Co., we create luxury interiors with a rustic-modern twist — think layered textures, curated collections, and spaces that feel equal parts refined and welcoming. In 2023, our founder, Kelsey McGregor, decided designing dream homes wasn’t enough... so Heritage House was born: a furniture and decor shop (online and in Downtown Edmond) where our design aesthetic comes to life — and then some.

Our team is creative, fast-moving, slightly perfectionistic (in a good way), and always down for a good Spotify playlist battle. We believe in hard work, authenticity, beautiful design, and having fun while doing it.

About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a full-time Content Creator who’s as comfortable behind the camera as they are hitting "post" on a fire Reel. You’ll help shape the voice and digital vibe of both Kelsey Leigh Design Co. and Heritage House — capturing beautiful content, telling the stories behind our projects and products, and building a scroll-stopping online presence.

If you can spot good light at golden hour, dream up a mini-series faster than a Netflix exec, and can make a TikTok without wanting to throw your phone across the room — you just might be our person.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Videography

  • Shoot and edit video for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube (think: behind-the-scenes, design tips, reveals, mini-series) for KLD and Heritage House brands.

  • Photograph projects, product styling sessions, mood boards, and those on-set magic moments.

  • Design on-brand graphics for socials, email campaigns, and websites (hello, Canva wizard).

  • Dream up and execute creative content ideas that feel so us.

Social Media Management

  • Strategically plan, post, and engage across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and LTK for both brands.

  • Keep our feeds looking chef’s kiss (aka, consistent, elevated, and on-brand).

  • Manage content calendars and obsess — just a little — over performance analytics.

  • Curate Pinterest boards that feel like a visual vacation.

  • Create LikeToKnowIt posts for seamless shopping experiences.

Copywriting & Digital Storytelling

  • Write blog posts, email campaigns, social captions, and website copy that sound like us (but maybe even better).

  • Collaborate with our design team to tell the story behind every project, product, and pillow fluff.

Brand Partnerships & Promotion

  • Help manage partnerships and collaborations with brands we love

  • Support content strategy for product launches, campaigns, and events.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Capcut, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Canva, and similar tools.

  • Strong writing and editing skills (no typos sneaking past you).

  • Eye for styling, aesthetics, and compelling storytelling.

  • Comfortable with frequent phone/camera use (the content hustle is real).

  • Social media savvy and obsessed with creating engaging, beautiful content.

  • Ability to capture “the moment” naturally (and know when to swipe to cinematic mode).

  • Basic graphic design and SEO skills.

  • Interior design or architecture experience = a major bonus.

  • Photography skills = another big gold star.

What We're Looking for in You

  • Highly proactive and self-motivated (no micromanaging here).

  • Organized and great at juggling multiple tasks without losing your cool.

  • Enthusiastic about being part of a creative, dynamic, and FUN team.

  • Detail-obsessed and visually driven.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment (seriously, if you’ve never gotten a speeding ticket… we might have concerns. Kidding. Kind of.)

  • Rope-drop ready — aka, if Disney World is your dream vacation, you’ll fit right in.

  • Great sense of humor — laughter is basically our second language.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Be part of a growing, inspiring design + retail brand.

  • Work closely with an award-winning design team.

  • Get hands-on experience with luxury interiors, styled spaces, and high-end editorial storytelling.

  • Enjoy creative freedom to produce unique, trend-setting content that people actually want to see.
